vintage in new york....

sorry it's been over a week since my last visit
but i have a pretty good reason....
last week was my husband and mine 20th anniversary....
and we spent the week in NYC.

it was quite divine....
i think i gained 10lbs eating....
you would think with all the walking
i would shed a few pounds but no such luck.

i did however get to see some fantastic vintage
signs, stores and flea markets
which almost made up for the extra pounds gained.

NYC has such history and much of it is still
intact and incorporated into the modern NYC.
it's how i imagine the perfect decor for a home would be.

i love the old fonts on the vintage signs
through out the city....

these are a couple of windows from
ABC home....
i could live here plus they have one of the
best restaurants in town.

then there are the flea markets....

yes i bought a couple of things but i have to
say my pockets were not deep enough for their prices....

the vintage stores....
this one all industrial....
i believe i drooled....

it was hard to come home but we
had the best time....
here is to the next 20 years....

love and ciao,
f

I LOVE NYC...I was lucky enough to have a daughter live there for 10 yrs so I could crash on her couch! I could just people watch (and dumpster dive)for days.
